1. What is Personal Information?
“Personal Information” is any information identifiable with you as an individual. This information may include but is not limited to your name, mailing address, e-mail address, and telephone number. Personal Information, however, does not include any information solely used to communicate with you about your employment, business, or profession, such as your name, position name or title, work address, work telephone number, or work electronic address.
2. How do we collect your Personal Information?
We will always collect your Personal Information fairly and legally (for example, when you register for our camp). We may collect Personal Information from you directly and from third parties where we have obtained your consent to do so or as it is otherwise required or permitted by law.
We may use “cookies” or enlist third-party services which use cookies to track your preferences and activities on our website. Cookies are small data files transferred to your computer’s hard drive by a website. They keep a record of your preferences, making your subsequent visits to the site more efficient. Cookies may store various information, including the number of times you access a site, your registration information, and the number of times you view a particular page or other item. Cookies are a common practice adopted by most major sites to serve their clients better. Most browsers are designed to accept cookies, but they can be easily modified to block cookies; see your browser’s help files for details on how to block cookies, know when you have received cookies, and how to disable cookies altogether. You should note, however, that without cookies, some of our website’s functions will not be available, and the user will lose some of the benefits of the website.
When we send e-mails to our contact lists, we sometimes track who opened the e-mails and who clicked the links to measure our e-mail campaigns’ performance. To do this, we may include single-pixel gifs, also called web beacons, in e-mails we send. Web beacons allow us to collect information about when you open the e-mail, your IP address, browser or e-mail client type, and other similar details. We may also use the capability to track when a URL has been clicked inside an e-mail message sent by our system. We use this functionality to track which links were clicked, in what quantity, and the number of links clicked. This click-tracking functionality does not collect any personally identifiable information.
