What makes our summer Aqua Sports Community of Every Day Heroes Unique?

Your experience will develop you as an aquatics athlete and as an individual in and out of the water and will leave you feeling part of a Community of Every Day Heroes.

Our Coaches

Our summer long, well-trained and qualified waterfront staff/coaches under the guidance of our experienced waterfront and small craft directors who are extremely passionate about young development in and out of the water while providing progressive skill development, practice and fun activities.

All Olympia Coaches implement Canada’s Long Term Athletic Development Model that provides an optimal training environment for camper athletes based on their developmental age and specified phases of loading drills and learning.

Sailing

From basic operation principles to advanced performance techniques. Safety on board and on the waterways. Pleasure and competitive sailing skills. Solo and partner sailing skills on Laser and CL16 sailboats.

The most exciting fun sport taught literally from the ground up at both introductory and advanced performance levels in water and land simulated instructions. Special instructions on rules and safety measures as well as equipment care. Skill evaluation.

Canoeing and Kayaking

Introductory, Intermediate and Advanced level training. Safety in, on and around canoes and kayaks. The rules of the water. Partner and solo canoeing. All skills and safety evaluation by coaches.
