What Makes our Summer artist’s journey community of everyday Heroes Unique?
Your experience will develop you as an artist and as an individual in and out of the studio and will leave you feeling part of a Community of Every Day Heroes.
Olympia scouts the best adult instructors from all over Ontario to teach our Artist’s Journey program. All adult instructors have experience teaching at the studio level and are extremely passionate about youth development in and out of the studio.
Through creative sketching and painting of the beautiful landscape and natural beauty of Olympia, campers learn and work on different styles of art experimenting with colours tones and lighting to change the effect of an image. Campers will have over 30 hours of personalized instruction both in the studio and on-site sketching and painting.
Campers will take canoe rides and hike the woods in order to experience the true beauty of Northern Canada and inspire the artist within. Matching paint colour with natural beauty never has been more exciting than Olympia’s “on location” sketching and painting where campers are at one with nature while capturing it in the Art form.
High-Level Artist’s Journey Development in a Traditional Camp Setting
On top of 5-6 hours of great artist’s journey development a day, campers will enjoy all the beauty of a traditional camp and its programs, for a truly unique experience.
Our Summer Staff
Our summer-long camp staff always makes sure that all campers are safe, supported and valued. Each camper will be in a cabin of 9- 12 people with 2 highly trained counsellor staff.
