WELCOME TO PICKLEBALL
Introducing Olympia Sports Camp’s Pickleball Program—your camper’s chance to dive into one of the fastest-growing sports in North America! Whether they’re brand new to the game or already dedicated players, this program offers a dynamic blend of skill development, strategy, and fun in a vibrant, supportive environment that only Olympia can provide.
Our Pickleball Program welcomes athletes of all levels. Beginners are introduced to the game in a friendly and encouraging setting where they’ll learn the essential building blocks: grip, footwork, stroke mechanics, court positioning, and the fundamentals of serving and returning. Coaches take the time to break down each element step-by-step, helping inexperienced players feel confident, capable, and ready to rally.
For more seasoned players, the program focuses on elevating performance through advanced tactics and refined technique. Campers work on shot selection, spin control, dinking strategies, transition zone play, and high-level doubles coordination. Match play scenarios are incorporated throughout the week to help athletes apply what they’ve learned in real-game situations, boosting their court awareness, decision-making, and competitive edge.
All athletes—regardless of experience—will grow through a balance of fun challenges, drills, and gameplay in both singles and doubles formats. Supported by certified pickleball instructors with national-level training, campers receive thoughtful feedback and personalized guidance that help them progress quickly and enjoy every step of their development.
Whether they’re picking up a paddle for the first time or aiming to strengthen competitive-level play, Olympia’s Pickleball Program delivers an exciting, challenging, and uplifting camp experience for everyone.
